909 906 2060Bridgett Flores joined the Care Staffing Professionals team to provide admin support to the company’s corporate social responsibility partnership with the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation. Bridgett identifies herself as an artistic-minded person that loves art and nature. She attended Palomares Academy of Health Science in high school, an academy whose curriculum is centered around professions in the medical field. During her tenure at Palomares, she gained basic medical training and certifications in HIPPA, OSHA, and CPR.
Bridgett later took on an internship at the Pomona Valley hospital where she had the opportunity to interact and care for the patients. The relationships she developed with the patients motivated her to return every day with the goal of caring for them until they were healthy and commit her life to public service. Brigett finds the most joy in helping people and inspiring others in a way where they too are motivated to help someone else in need. Upon hearing about the D’ Andre D. Lampkin Foundation she knew taking on her position was a not only great opportunity for her to help people in need but a great way to help her community.
When the COVID-19 pandemic became a global concern, Bridgett came to the realization there was an opportunity to become a part of the solution. Bridgett spearheaded efforts to provide nutrition to local residents through the Foundation’s COVID-19 food pantry, partner with Care Staffing Professionals healthcare staff to provide free COVID-19 testing, and work directly with nursing professionals and the community to host Blood Drives, Toy Drives, and activities centered around disaster relief.
